Peony / Dots Reversible Ultra High-Waist Bottom

Great pattern, though I wish these weren't reversible. The black side has a smooth seam but, when reversed, there is a puckered seam near the crotch on the patterned side. The black backing also makes the the white of the patterned side look less bright, so it doesn't quite match the white top I'm planning to wear with it. I would typically wear a size large bottom but ordered a size medium, which fits perfectly.

Lime Ricki has great quality swim suits. Sometimes sizing can be off. I felt these bottoms are true to size. I ordered a size small (which is what I usually wear) and they fit like a size small. I also ordered the matching reversible crop top in a size small and I felt that fit smaller than a size small. I really needed a size medium. I love that the bottoms (and top) are reversible, because you are getting a two for one!

I have a long torso with a long pelvic bone and have so far not found a high waisted bottom that actually has been high waisted on myself. This one does the trick. I bought it for the reverse fabric and though I love geometric patterns, the amount of white and light pink will never work for my pale legs. (Why bother with white on a swimsuit? Most boring colour to begin with) My only issue is that there is a visible seam on the reverse side right at the bottom of my tush. I wish the reverse fabric was the outer layer and did not have this issue, but the yellow dotted fabric is just too cute, will wear this all summer and might get another colour too!

The waste line does come up almost to under my boobs. I’m about 5’4” 165lbs wide hipped and chunky legs, belly is getting thicker the older I get, but I’m still smaller waist than thighs/butt/hip area. I got clearance, so I can’t return, but ultra high does mean ULTRA in my opinion. I feel a little like granny because of where the waist hits y’all.

So I finally got to wear my swimsuit to the beach. I am a water baby. I love to be in the water these bottoms don’t ride they are comfortable They did look a little big coming out of the package, but that was proven wrong
