I’m in love with this—I finally found a unicorn that makes me feel comfortable and fancy-free! I’ve never felt this way in a swim suit ever. I get burnt easily and my body hates all forms of pubic hair removal so this spoke to me immediately. Sizing— I’m stocky and short with what I call “refrigerator” build—not many curves. Im 5ft 1, my shoulders are 42 in, chest 38 in, waist 33 in, hips 38 in. The medium fits me quite snugly- I echo another reviewer in that I wish the zipper went down a tad bit lower to the waist seam so it was easier putting on and off as it feels almost as if im gonna pop something pulling it over my shoulders and chest. I hope it’s as durable as it appears. I commend the fact that it is thick & fully lined, with padding pockets over breasts, ANDD best of all has a full extra panel of fabric running from the inside of 1 thigh across to the other thigh to help prevent camel toe/FUPA emphasis which I massively struggle with!! Godsend. The pattern is absolutely beautiful, love the contrast and empire waist to help keep eyes up and give illusion of a waist that I don’t have much of. It is so cute, I feel like a dime piece in this and not like im in a wetsuit.
This checks almost every single box in a swimsuit for me:
1) long shorts that don't ride up when I walk
2) sun protection/coverage (I am super pale)
3) No underwire or huge foam cup situation to fit awkwardly on my small chest
4) modesty lining/nipple coverage
5) Finding all of the above in a cute pattern and not solid black is unheard of. I get SO MANY compliments.
Make this in different prints and I'll buy all of them.
I have two complaints: 1) The modesty inserts in the chest tend to be fiddly to situate, particularly after washing 2) I'm tall, and I wish the zip went down further so it is easier to get in and out of.
Also my little cousin bought a long-sleeve rashguard suit from somewhere else and was teasing me about my "farmer tan" so it would be amazing if you had a cut exactly like this in a future print that has long sleeves.
I can't begin to say how happy I am with my purchase! The length of the shorts is absolutely perfect! I purchased a small and it fits me exactly like the photos. I'm super small chested and the padding is the perfect coverage. I've bought a similar suit from another company that had the thinnest material and no padding on the chest - which I was afraid would be the case with this suit. Nope. I love the pattern and colors. Please some out with more colors/patterns in this suit and I'll buy every single one!
I was hesitant to buy this ADORABLE suit because it's so form-fitting, but it is super comfortable and super flattering. It is also easy to get on an off and looks like it will dry fast.
