We hope that you had a Merry Christmas, and were able to make somebody happy this season. Chances are, you were on the nice list this year and got something great for Christmas. If that’s the case, then you probably need help writing a thank you card. Thank you cards are great because they give you an opportunity to say thanks and they are always welcome. But how do you write one? Here are three easy steps to writing a great thank you card.
1. Say thank you! Of course, this is the most obvious part of the card, but a simple thank you goes a long way. Remember, these aren’t called the magical words for no reason.
2. Tell them something you love about the gift. This makes the giver feel good about giving the gift, and that you are someone who appreciates the details and emotional process that giving is.
3. Tell them something personal. This will give them just a little insight into what is going on in your life, and help them feel connected to you, even if your hundreds of miles away.
Hopefully this time of year will be wonderful for you and your family. Thank you for being with us this past year, it has been a great one!
