Shining Up to the Sky

Does anyone else have a girl crush on Ellie Goulding? Her voice is enchanting, and I’m loving this new single. It’s not on itunes yet, but you can always listen to this youtube video over and over again (like me). Plus the music video is prettyyyy. The first half looks like summer and the second half looks like a party. And I love the use of light (a combination of 100’s of glowing glass orbs and red flares).

My favorite part might be around 2:45 though, when it’s dark and everyone is just staring up into the sky. It just seems like a sweet moment, hopeful even. What do you think?
