New Favorite Photo App

I know there’s one too many photo editing apps out there, but I think I finally found one I love, so I thought I’d share it.

It’s called Afterlight. As with any photo app it has a variety of filters to choose from. Gotta love those right? But my favorite thing about this app is the lighting affects they have. They call them “textures,” and it leaves a streak of light across the photo, almost as if it was taken with a Diana. I used a more dramatic texture here so you could see what I’m talking about, but they have more subtle ones I like even better.

You can also add a frame to have your photo be  a circle, triangle, you name it. And when you’re finished you can share it anywhere (including Instagram). The only downside is the app is 99 cents (I know, I know), but I think it’s worth it. Let me know what you think!
