Music Tuesday — Throwback Edition

Do you know how good ABBA is? I’m trying to think of the best way to describe them, but all I can think of is Gold — which just so happens to be the name of their greatest hits album. They are pop geniuses. If I had to describe pop music in its purest form, I would play you an ABBA track. Their songs have it all; melodies you want to hear over and over again, rhythms that you can dance to, and choruses that you will be singing for days. These Swedish stars really got it right.

The song that’s been on my mind today is Lay All Your Love On Me. Take a few minutes and listen to it. Do you see what I mean? It is pure pop gold, it makes you want to move. Anyway, I just hope that in an era where looking into the past is easier than ever before, we won’t look past this group. Enjoy!
