There’s nothing like summer nights, laughing, chatting, and most likely eating with friends. Ice cream and fries are the first things that I crave. I mean french fries practically scream summer, and everyone is pinning glorious In N Out. You’ve tried the healthy alternative of sweet potato fries, but have you tried CARROT fries? They are extremely easy.
We used organic carrots from the farmers market, but also added some big store bought carrots, because we wanted a lot of fries and didn’t have enough. Feel free to use either!
-Preheat the oven to 450 degrees.
-Begin by washing and peeling the carrots.
–Julienne the carrots. (Don’t know what that is? Click the link.)
-Drizzle a good amount of olive oil on the carrots.
-Lay the carrots on a cookie sheet, and sprinkle salt and pepper on top.
-If you want extra flavor, cumin, cilantro, or rosemary would be fun to sprinkle on top as well.
-Cook for 10-15 minutes, depending on how cooked you like them.
These babies surprisingly taste like fries. Dip it in some bbq sauce? You’re taste buds won’t know the difference.
