2018 is in full swing, and around our office, we’re all working on goals and forming new habits. It can be hard to stay motivated throughout the year so to stay on track, the whole Lime Ricki team has matching calendars to track progress and set intentions. It’s going so well so far that we wanted to share our calendars with you so you can join in on making big changes.

Each month of the calendar has a different quote, which you can use as the theme for your month or as a mini challenge to focus on for those 30 days. So, to go along with each month’s quote, here are 12 ways to live 2018 to the fullest. Don’t forget to head to our downloads page to get your calendars! They’ll be under the “Printables & PDFs” section.

1. January: Find the beauty

“I always find beauty in things that are odd and imperfect. They are much more interesting that way.” – Marc Jacobs

This month, take time to look around at everything in your life and recognize how beautiful it is, even the simple things. Consider the parts of you that are “odd and imperfect” and choose to see the beauty in them.

2. February: Do something that scares you

“I’ve been absolutely terrified every moment of my life – and I’ve never let it keep me from doing a single thing I wanted to do.” – Georgia O’Keeffe

Use your calendar, and plan a day and an activity that you will do even though it makes you get goosebumps whenever you think about it. It doesn’t have to be something as drastic as skydiving or swimming with sharks, but set out to conquer one of your fears and actually do it. You’ll be amazed at how powerful it makes you feel.

3. March: Practice kindness

“Be kinder to yourself. And then let your kindness flood the world.” – Pema Chödron

For the first two weeks of the month, practice kindness with yourself. Write compliments to yourself on the mirror. Forgive yourself when needed. Fill your body with healthy and delicious food. See how this changes you. Then, take that kindness and expand it to everyone around you. See how this changes you again, along with your relationships.

4. April: Keep going

“Life is tough, my darling, but so are you.” – Stephanie Bennett Henry

It’s April – spring fever is setting in, school is almost out, and it’s getting hard to stay motivated. Throughout the month, work on finishing the projects you set out to do, whether it’s a looming deadline at work or the spring cleaning you might have overcommitted to.

5. May: Show support

“I want to be around people that do things. I don’t want to be around people that judge or talk about what people do. I want people who dream and support and do things.” – Amy Poehler

Chances are, your friends and acquaintances are out there doing all kinds of amazing things, so show them some support. If you get the urge to gossip or compare yourself, push that urge away and instead, send that person a congratulations message or purchase from their business.

6. June: Love yourself

“Owning our story and loving ourselves through that process is the bravest thing that we will ever do.” – Brené Brown

Find the part of yourself you struggle with accepting, and spend the next 30 days pouring love into that area. It may be physical, but it may be something mental or spiritual as well. Recognize the purpose that part of you serves and work on accepting it and loving it as part of what makes you, you.

7. July: Evaluate your goals

“When you get into a tight place and everything goes against you until it seems that you cannot hold on for a minute longer, never give up then, for that is just the place and time when the tide will turn.” – Harriet Beecher Stowe

July has come and you’re halfway through the year! Take the time to revisit your goals, recognize the progress you’ve made, and make any changes to ensure you can live the rest of the year to the fullest.

8. August: Time to thrive

“My mission in life is not merely to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some passion, some compassion, some humor and some style.” – Maya Angelou

Think of some things you love to do for fun – the things you feel absolutely happy while doing – and put them on the calendar. Fill your days with humor and fun this month, take some time just for you, and notice how it changes your mood.

9. September: Perform service

“Do small things with great love.” – Mother Teresa

Each day of September, perform a small act of service, whether it’s for someone close to you or a stranger. Often we have a tendency to wait for the holidays to start doing service, but why not do it all year long?

10. October: Dream big

“Doubt kills more dreams than failure ever will.” – Suzy Kassem

Sometime this month, make a vision board. Sit down with a poster board, old magazines, or specific printouts, and paste together a collage of all your dreams. Hang it in your office or a place you’ll see it often, and plan to check in one year to see how many things you’ve accomplished.

11. November: Let go

“In the end, only three things matter: how much you loved, how gently you lived, and how gracefully you let go of things not meant for you.” – Buddha

Is there something in your life that’s been nagging at the back of your mind, or a situation that you keep beating yourself up for? Work on letting it go. If you need to apologize, do that, but most likely, you need to let yourself accept your own forgiveness. Letting these negative feelings leave your life will be freeing.

12. December: You did it

“Sometimes your only available transportation is a leap of faith.” – Margaret Shepard

It’s the last month of the year! Take this time to celebrate yourself for making it through – and growing as a person in the process. Now to start planning for next year!
